Background
Pinterest tends to be the social media channel that most brands have but don’t maintain. As social media coordinator at Skidmore College, I wanted to create a strategy for the platform that would meet the audience where they were.
Tactics
Skidmore College’s award-winning dining services team is well known for their creative and delicious recipes. By collaborating with the chefs, easy-to-make recipes were posted to the Skidmore website and then turned into rich recipe pins and added to a recipe pin board. This tactic increased traffic to the site from an untapped audience.
