Frozen Apples

Craving something sweet? Try an easy dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 3/4 cup of plain, nonfat greek yogurt

  • Slice apples into wedges of desired thickness and spread on a plate
  • Dip each wedge into the greek yogurt, coating half of the wedge evenly
  • Place in freezer for a half hour to an hour.

This is one of the easiest desserts of all time! I love frozen yogurt, and whenever I crave something sweet, I generally turn to some greek yogurt after dinner. This is a great alternative to over-indulging at a Frozen Yogurt store!IMG_4285

This recipe can be applied to nearly all fruits; bananas, grapes, strawberries…anything.

You can also, alternatively, mix in some peanut butter, PB2, honey, cinnamon, or anything else you’d like into the yogurt before freezing, or indulge a little and top with chocolate chips or coco nibs. Really, anything goes with this recipe! I want to see how you alter it!
